A familiar level of detail

A complete picture.
Beyond the picture.

Check exposure, evaluate color, and measure audio with eleven scope types. Put the tools you need together, with independent settings in every cell.

01

Waveform

Read exposure and RGB levels. Pinch to zoom vertically for a closer look.

02

Vectorscope

Examine hue and saturation, including separate highlights, midtones, and shadows in HML mode.

03

Histogram & CIE

See channel distributions and explore where colors sit in the chromaticity plot.

04

Source & False Color

Inspect the picture, read exposure with false color, and sample individual colors with draggable color pins.

05

Hectorscope

Explore the signal in 3D. Drag to rotate and tilt, or switch between surface and point-cloud views.

06

Skin Tone & Neutral

Inspect skin-tone ranges with manual HSV or YCbCr detection, and highlight colors close to neutral.

07

Goniometer

Inspect stereo correlation and the relationship between channels, with selectable stereo pairs and peak hold.

08

Loudness Meter

Measure momentary, short-term and integrated LUFS, loudness range, and true peak. Pause or reset each meter independently.

Made for touch

Less interface.
More signal.

Native controls keep your settings close. Lock the workspace when you want the scopes to fill the screen.

  • Make your own layout. Choose a grid, change any cell’s scope, and save it under a custom name. Compare independent copies of the same scope.
  • Move naturally. Pinch to zoom, pan supported scopes with two fingers, and double-tap to reset. Waveform zoom and pan stay vertical.
  • Turn your workspace. Layouts adapt between portrait and landscape, with remembered panel sizes.
  • Focus the analysis. Crop the input region across all scopes.
  • Inspect precise values. Move color pins over the picture and choose RGB, HEX, HSV, nits, or other readout formats.
  • Listen as well as look. Compact meters show incoming audio. Enable monitoring when the source carries audio, or capture the built-in camera’s microphone.

Bring your signal

Choose how you connect.

Bring local media and live signals into the same scope workspace, with settings remembered for each source.

Cameras & USB capture

Use the built-in cameras or a compatible USB capture device recognized by iPadOS. Available formats depend on the device.

NDI

Monitor an NDI source on your network.

SRT

Receive SDR or HDR streams in caller or listener mode, with configurable buffering and encrypted connections.

Accsoon SeeMo

Bring an HDMI signal into OmniScope through SeeMo. Original SeeMo support is now included in the beta.

Images & video

Open local media from Files on your iPad.

Color bars

Explore the scopes with a built-in test signal.

Device compatibility and performance testing are ongoing. ScreenPort is not included in the current TestFlight beta.

Color and HDR

Know what you’re measuring.

Camera
iPad

Convert camera log to Rec. 709 using 21 input gamma curves and 17 color spaces, or import a 3D .cube LUT. Input processing applies to the picture and every scope.

  • Match the camera. Choose transforms for Apple Log, ARRI LogC, Sony S-Log, Canon CLog, Panasonic V-Log, and more.
  • Control the conversion. Optional tone mapping, saturation preservation, and gamut compression let you choose how the signal is mapped.
  • Compare HDR previews. For PQ and HLG sources, choose Raw, SDR, or HDR per Source Signal viewer, or across all viewers in Preferences.

Preview modes leave scope measurements unchanged. HDR appearance depends on the iPad’s available display brightness. Input LUTs and camera-color conversion bypass automatic HDR preview mapping.

Desktop to iPad

Pair once.
Monitor on iPad.

Desktop
iPad

Scan the QR code in a compatible OmniScope desktop SRT output, or pair using the code shown on your iPad. Reconnect to a remembered desktop without setting up the connection again.

  • Send SDR or HDR. Desktop iPad presets support HEVC 10-bit 4:2:0 streams with SDR, PQ, or HLG signaling.
  • Check the received signal. See the stream’s codec, bit depth, chroma sampling, and transfer function.
  • Choose your buffering. Use normal buffering on Wi-Fi, or try low latency on a stable wired network.

Pairing requires both devices on the same local network and a desktop build with iPad pairing support. Stream quality depends on the original source, encoding settings, network, and iPad.
