What exactly is Nobe Display

Nobe Display is a virtual display plugin that works with DaVinci Resolve. The main purpose of the application is to mirror the preview and allow to place it anywhere in your desktop. It enables you to have a picture preview in the external monitor without using extra hardware.

Where can I use Nobe Display?

Nobe Display is available for both Mac & Windows and it works exclusively with DaVinci Resolve through the OpenFX extension.
The plugin works in Color and Edit page. It’s not designed to work in Fusion page.

Can I use keyboard shortcuts?

You can turn on and off certain options using keyboard shortcuts:

  • [TAB] – toggle fullscreen mode (menu & bottom buttons)
  • [R] – display red channel only
  • [G] – green channel only
  • [B] – blue channel only
  • [Y] – luminance mode (no saturation)
  • [C] – back to color mode

Is there a dark theme?

Dark theme can be enabled in the configuration file.

Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/NobeDisplay/config.ini
Windows: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\FalseColor\config.ini
To enable dark theme simply change the dark_mode from false to true:
dark_theme=true
To apply the settings the Nobe Display application needs to be restarted.

Licensing

How many times can I activate the license?

The license has an activation limit of 3. But the activation is linked with a specific hardware, which means that on one specific computer you can activate the product as many times as you want. This also means that you can use the product on 3 different computers.

I lost my license key. What to do?

My workstation is not connected to the internet. How to activate the product?

In case your machine is not connected to the internet or you are having issues with online activations (slow internet or server issues) you can proceed with an offline activation described here.

What are the payment options?

You can pay using PayPal or by Credit Card. Supported cards:

Can I get a refund?

In general the answer is no. However in some specific cases we can consider offering you a refund (software issues, incompatibility, etc).

I made a mistake in my order. What to do?

Do you offer volume licensing?

Volume licensing options exists but the pricing vary. Please contact us and provide more details.

Can I receive VAT invoice?

YES. Please provide the VAT code during checkout and the invoice will be sent to you automatically.
