OmniScope - Massive Update!

Hi there,
We're delighted to announce that after many months of intensive development, Nobe OmniScope became better than ever!
Tons of new exciting features, numerous additions, enhancements, and bug fixes.
Version 1.8 brings highly requested multiple input support allowing you to monitor multiple sources at the same time. The whole UI has been redesigned to accommodate for this change to take the application to the next level! But that's not all - see the full list of the most important things that are now available in OmniScope 1.8.

WHAT'S NEW

  • Multi-input support
  • AJA
  • Real-time HDR statistics (MaxFall and MaxCLL)
  • NDI in and out with audio up to 16bit 4:2:2
  • GPU based ScreenCapture on macOS
  • Data Analyser
  • Companion
  • Syphon

Multi-input support

The biggest change from the initial OmniScope release. Now you can monitor multiple sources at the same time. Highly requested feature for Dolby Vision workflow, reference matching, and DIT multiple camera feed monitoring.
We have added a new UI element called Input Strip for better source management.

AJA

We have added native AJA input card support (SDI/HDMI). Now all the connected USB/Thunderbolt/PCI-e devices will be listed in the Connect To dialog automatically.

Real-time HDR statistics (MaxFall and MaxCLL)

Another tool in our QC toolkit that allows you to see the HDR statistics. OmniScope can calculate both current MaxFALL and MaxCLL in real-time.

NDI in and out with audio up to 16bit 4:2:2

Full NDI in and out support with audio and up to 16bit 4:2:2. NDI out can be either source pass-through or full-scope view.
Quickly share your scopes or toggle between full-frame and scope view.

GPU based ScreenCapture on macOS

Improved the existing screen capture source to fetch the screen data directly from the GPU (without the CPU read-back). This improves the latency and performance significantly.

Data Analyser

Quickly analyze the RAW image data pixel-by-pixel in either RGB or YCbCr format. You can also switch between all available bit-depth signal ranges (8bit, 10bit, 12bit, 32bit floating point).

Companion

Out native StramDeck integration is now extended to Companion thanks to the newly written module:
https://github.com/bitfocus/companion-module-nobe-omniscope
Available soon in the official Companion build.

Syphon

Syphon is a macOS platform for sharing GPU frames between processes. It means that OmniScope can now monitor the video feed (from the supported hosts) directly at the GPU level. No latency and no extra performance hit.
